Recently while doing android mobile security assessment which only ran on certain mobile phones.
So i was given a Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562 with that application installed.
As you know , it is very important to root a phone so that we have better control on the phone and get to the local storage.
I found that it was really easy to root this phone particularly as no unlocking of boot loader also required.
I just had to use kingo root for rooting this phone and my testing went on smoothly.
I know there are lot of phones out of there , and its more of a personal preference which one you choose to root. But this was like a hit in first attempt.
Thus i would recommend all the newbies to try this phone for penetration testing of android apps .
